[translation of remainder of text]:
Mr. Adam has easily succeeded in making photographs of incredible delicacy and strength, without retouching, on paper, glass and cloth. He is perhaps the only photographer to have made thousands of portraits without retouching at the price that others charge for retouching them and to the satisfaction of his customers. Only after 10 years of practice can he so conscientiously offer the fruits of his long and careful work to the public.
New systems of Adams' portraits [formé de loupe]. These have a marvelous effect and provide a complete dimensional experience of beauty and vivaciousness. In one word: as they are in life. This new type of work is the greatest novelty.
The portraits are shown to the public, [séance tenante], images that were unacceptable will be replaced free of charge.
Photography call once again consider itself a great success; In days to come, no one would want to be deprived of a picture of a loved one. "Whoever loves someone on earth will bless my invention." [Daguerre]
Mr. Adam is going to all parts of town, to the countryside and abroad to train students, to make portraits, to reproduce views, country scenery, tombstones in cemeteries and churches and well as to make post mortem portraits.
Reproduction of paintings, engravings, etchings, art objects, portraits and miniatures for brooches, medals, pins, rings, buttons, bracelets, jewelry boxes, wide range of frames of all sorts.
Portraits or group pictures of families [microscopiques] for stereoscopes. These are very successful. The device offered with these portraits provides true to life beauty of the form and color.
The traditions of the House of Adam, its many medals, honorable mentions from its participation in exhibitions all serve as a guarantee of the quality of its work.
Try! Compare! Judge for yourself!
Mr. Adam himself is available in his studio from 8:00 AM until 12 noon, and from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, and will be happy to answer all your questions.
