DescriptionAlbum containing 42 prints by an early amateur photographer (British ?). Unidentified portraits, both of individuals, small and large groups. Sitters appear to be members of 3 generations of a family and 2 dogs. Included are a few landscapes and images with the feel of a "genre" scene. There are a few later albumen photographs and one gelatin or collodion POP print that is a copy of a daguerreotype. Images are attached to high quality paper and bound in a notebook with marbled covers and leather spine and corners. Two photographs (1981.1263.0085 and 0086) are detached from the album.

Please note: The cataloger numbered the album pages beginning with the front flyleaf; database records have been created for only those pages with text printed on or photographs adhered to them.
