TextAccording to George Eastman, the first Kodak camera was sold in May 1888. The cameras were commonly available on the market beginning July 1888. The Kodak came loaded with enough film for one hundred 2 ½-inch diameter images. This example of the Kodak is in like-new condition and is still loaded with film. Original price: $25.
