Fay Bainter [circled in blue crayon], who played Mickey Rooney's screen mother in "Young Tom Edison," again is paired with the young star in Wililiam Saroyan's "The Human Comedy," filmed by Metro- \ Goldwin-Meyer. She appears as "Ma" Macauley, mother of four \ children in a small town that could be any American community. \ Donna Reed, Van Johnson and five-year-old Jack "Butch" Jenkins are \ her other three screen offsprings. Directed and produced by \ Clarence Brown, the new picture offers a stellar cast that also \ includes Frank Morgan, James Craig, Marsha Hunt, John Craven and \ Dorothy Morris.
