DescriptionContains thirty-one albumen silver prints made during Charnay's first expedition to Mexico (1857-1861). All but one of these photographs were published as a portfolio by Charnay as "Cités et Ruines américaines: Mitla, Palenque, Izamal, Chichén-Itza" (1863).
