HIT BY A JAP BOMBER-- Smoke pouring thorugh a hole in the flight deck and out the/ side aperture of an escort carrier after it was hit by a Jap bomb during the/ Second Battle of the Philippines October 25, 1944. Ninely[sic] minutes later all damage/ was repaired and the ship was underway./
