A MARINE IS HIT-----Dropping their guns for a few seconds to catch a/ buddie [sic] who has been hit by a Jap sniper and fatally wounded, these/ Marines pause in their barrage of grenades, send hurtling against the enemy/ by rifle and by hand, in the bloody battle of "Suicide Ridge." This is/ one of the campaigns in the battle for Peleliu island in the Palau group./
