DescriptionAlbum containing twenty seven albumen silver and seven salted paper prints. Bound in brown leather with gilt detailing, with plain endpapers. Five of the salted paper prints (16-20) are loose and stored in an envelope with the album. Portraits 33-34, presumably of Henry Collen and his wife Ellen, were made in 1840 and printed by Henry Fox Talbot as stated in a two page written note in the back of the album (see Components).
