The city of Mexico is full of amazing contrasts, and it's not \ unusual to see a barefooted peasant family dodging the sleek \ automobiles of the wealthier citizens. The influx of thousands of \ tourists has heightened the contrasts, and on the busy corner of [struck out] \ accross [extra "c" struck out] from the Palacio de Bellas Artes, barefooted Indians rub \ shoulders with elegantly dressed tourists. The Americans are \ usually in such a hurry to get someplace else that they miss the \ exciting contradictions and sights right before their eyes.
