Inscriptions Typed in black ink on applied label, verso BC:(Gordonstoun) 2/62 1) GORDONSTOUN HOUSE is the main building of the \ school on the north coast of Scotland where Prince Charles \ will enroll, like his father before him, on May first. \ According to local legend, the estate belonged in the 17th \ century to Sir Robert Gordon, who bargained with the devil \ for some secrets of black magic. HOwever, the devil came \ here to haunt him and finally caught him, as he fled the estate on horseback, trying to seek sanctuary in the local \ church. \ Credit: Rene Burri © 1962 MAGNUM Photos
