We recommend however, that you read and completely understand the instruction book before operating your projecotr for the first time. FILM TRIMMER (below this label) Trim the end of the film before showing for the first time. Place the end of the leader into the proper channel (STD for regular 8mm, SUP for super 8). Be sure the pins engage the film perferations, then press the cutter down for a clean trim. TO SHOW MOVIES: 1.Attach Take-Up Reel to Take-Up Spindle 2.Trim end of your film with Film Trimmer 3.Attach movie reel to Supply Reel Spindle 4.Check Filim Format Indicator for film type 5.Plug in power cord, move power switch to MTR 6.Check that the multi motin knob is in NORM 7.Place control knob in FORWARD for loading 8.Insert film end into film loading slot 9.Push film in until it is picked up (above 8") 10.Move power switch to LMP to show movies 11.Focus lens and adjust framing lever if needed Printed in U.S.A. 46099 / Printed in silver on product plate on bottom of projector: BELL & HOWELL MOTION PICTURE PROJECTOR LISTED 198L UL MADE IN U.S.A.
