Larger lamps than 375 watt may overlaod a single electrical circuit and may blow fuses. These lamps have been designed to provide maximum amount of illumination. Two Lite Unit has a single on and off toggle switch which operates both lamps at once. Four LIte Unit has one switch that controls the two outside lamps and on switch for the two inside lamps, thus providing equal distribution of light when two or four lmaps are turned on. The Two Lite Unit is one straight bar with two sockets. THe FOur Lite Unit folds in half for easy handling and storaging when not in use. TO Use-Unfold Lit Bar and engage both halves securely with knurled knob. Set camera on top of rubber-cork covered ledge of steel "U" bracket. Turn knurled steel set screw into bottom of Camera tightly. Make sure Camera is fastened securely. Every Camera has a threaded hole in the bottom. Handle is screwed into the other side of "U" bracket. Do not use more than four lamps on one circuit that is fused for 15 amperes. Do not use home applicances, lamps or supplementary lighting on the same circuit. Do not allow parchment, cloth or other combustible materials to touch the bulbs. The technique for taking movies indoors is the same for outdoors. Hold up light bar but its handle firmly-Turn on the lights and let 'er roll. USE THE SUGGESTED APERTURE SETTING CHART ON BACK OF LIGHT BAR TO GET THE CORRECT LENS OPENING, DISTANCE, ETC. WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF FILM THAT YOU MAY BE USING. Propoer use of light bar will give you best movies or pictures. The light bar unit can also be used for taking still pictures, slides, stereo slides, etc. Light Bar may also be tripod mounted by fastening tripod same place where handle is attached. Bar LItes should be storaged in Metal Carrying Case for protection against possible breakage. / Printed in blue on lamp instruction card: GENERAL ELECTRIC 375 WATT MEDIUM BEAM REFLECTOR PHOTOFLOOD PH375/34R4 Recommended for amateur and professional photography with black and white and color films balanced for 3400K. CAUTION: Do not allow parchment, cloth or other combustible materials to touch bulb. USe no more than 4 lamsp on one circuit fused for 15 amperes. EXPOSURE: When using 2 lamps divide guide number by distancefrom light to subject to find lens f/number. use nearest actual f/number. For one lamp, use next smaller f/number; for 4 lamps, use next larger f/number.
