Inscriptions Entry 527 in Mackay's notebook (located in library): Beautiful half-plate daguerreotype of grandmother of Wallis Warfield Simpson Windsor as a young woman. She was a family friend of the family of Marie Vorhees Young, well-to-do elderly S.F. woman. The daguerreotype is beautifully jeweled and lady is beautifully gowned. (3.50)
