Entry 437 and 439 in Mackay's notebook (located in library): 437. Large 4”x6” gutta percha case from Elizabeth Edgette, antiques, Ossining, N.Y. Has “Moses in Bulrushes with Sister Miriam” (2.00). Contains beautiful dag. of unknown man ($.50). also #439 (.25) 439. Unusual looking daguerreotype of unknown young man. Blond and delicate, and pretty like a girl. Dressed like a grown man, but probably very young ($.25 without case) Placed in gutta percha case #437. (Moses in Bulrushes) Case cost 2.00. Total cost with daguerreotype of 2 men, case and postal charges, about 3.00
