Entry 728 in Mackay's notebook (located in library): Daguerreotype of E.P. Christy, famous early minstrel singer and minstrel show owner. Playing banjo, smoking pipe. Gay plaid pants, hands & feet blacked. Unfortunately someone rubbed his face, so no longer very clear. However still interesting gift. Worth around 3.50
