Called "Family Portrait-1940", it bur- \ lesques the style of the old-time portrait studios. \ Either Junior was trying to look as tough as Papa, or \ Julius Shulman of Los Angeles, California who took the \ photo must have made a nasty face. At any rate, it helped \ him to place third in the balloting at the Graflex Exhibit.
